In beta, and free while it is

If your beta access gets an end date, you see it in Settings under Billing, and we email you before it ends. When paid plans open, you choose whether to move to Plus; otherwise you keep the free plan: everything except Talk, with 10 Talk replies a month. There is no card on file during the beta, so nothing is ever charged on its own, and everything you wrote stays yours. As a thank-you, beta members get 25% off Plus for the first 12 months on the web or in the iPhone and Android apps.

The trial starts when you finish setting up and lasts 7 days, with no card needed. Nothing is charged when it ends. Afterwards, without Plus, your journal, check-ins, memory, the short resets and your safety plan stay, and everything you wrote stays yours to read, export or delete. Urgent help and crisis replies are always there. Beta members also keep the free plan: the full guided library and 10 Talk replies a month on a lighter model once their email is verified; if the free budget for everyone runs out, free Talk pauses until the 1st. Plus has Talk without the monthly limit, journeys, the weekly review, summaries and Ask.

Plus includes daily and monthly AI allowances. How many messages they cover depends on conversation and reply length, the model used and other AI features. There is also a maximum of 100 companion messages a day; the AI allowance may run out sooner. See Usage and plan for what remains and when it renews. Crisis replies never count towards these limits.

The App Store and Google Play take a commission, so Plus costs 22.99 € a month or 169.99 € a year when you subscribe in the iOS or Android app. Your subscription works on the web and in the apps, wherever you bought it.

If you subscribed on the web, cancel in Settings under Billing. If you subscribed in the app, cancel through the App Store or Google Play.

A code takes money off Plus when you check out, for example off the first payment. During the beta there is nothing to pay, so keep your code until Plus opens.
